1. Is this 8.1-inch CarPlay screen compatible with my vehicle?

It is designed for 12–24V vehicles with a working cigarette-lighter power outlet and enough dashboard or windshield space for the included mount. It is a portable display, so it does not replace your vehicle's factory stereo.

2. Do I need professional installation?

The display mounts on the dashboard or windshield and plugs into a 12–24V cigarette-lighter outlet, so the factory stereo does not need to be removed. Installing the backup camera requires routing its cable and connecting the reverse trigger wire to the positive reverse-light wire.

3. How does audio play through my car speakers?

The screen supports Bluetooth, FM transmission and AUX audio connections. Choose the method supported by your vehicle; for FM transmission, tune the screen and car radio to the same unused frequency.

4. Are the dash cam and backup camera included?

Yes. The product includes a 2K dash cam and a 1080P backup camera. The rear camera must be mounted at the back of the vehicle, with its cable routed to the display and its reverse trigger wire connected to the positive reverse-light wire.

5. Which phones and connection features are supported?

The screen supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and screen mirroring with compatible iPhone and Android phones. Phone settings and available features can vary by device, so follow the pairing steps in the user manual.

6. What should I do if the speaker volume is too low?

Switch to another audio output channel under Audio Options, and check your car's volume and balance settings to ensure they are not limiting sound.

7. Why is there no sound on FM transmission?

Make sure both your car’s radio and the unit are tuned to the same FM frequency. Try a different, unused frequency if interference occurs.

8. What should I try if Bluetooth or wireless connection fails?

Confirm that the screen is in pairing mode, remove old connection records from the phone, and restart both devices before reconnecting. Also confirm that Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and required phone permissions are enabled.

9. What should I do if the screen freezes or stops responding?

Turn the unit off completely, wait a few seconds, and power it back on. If the problem continues, reset the unit and contact HIEHA Support with the product model and a short description of the issue.

10. Why does the CarPlay unit turn off by itself?

Some vehicles cut power to the cigarette lighter when the ignition is off. This is normal. You can connect to a constant 12V source or restart it manually when needed.
