Connecting the Magic Box to Your iPhone Personal Hotspot

The Magic Box can only connect to 2.4GHz WiFi networks. By default, iPhone Personal Hotspot uses a 5GHz connection.

If you have an iPhone 12 or later, you can turn on Maximize Compatibility for Personal Hotspot to use a 2.4GHz connection. Here's how:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on Personal Hotspot.
  3. Turn on Maximize Compatibility.

Once you've turned on Maximize Compatibility, the Magic Box should be able to connect to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot.
